RECIPE OF THE WEEK: TOMMY’S CHILI


INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef, pork, or turkey
3 cans kidney beans, drained
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 packet mild chili seasoning
1 dash worchestshire sauce

DIRECTIONS
(1) Brown ground meat, onion, and bell pepper in a pre-heated skillet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. (Depending on the moisture in the meat, you may also need to add a little canola oil to the skillet.) Drain meat mixture once cooked, set aside.
(2) In a pot, mix stewed tomatoes, beans, and chili seasoning. Add meat mixture. Stir, mixing thoroughly. Add the dash of worchestshire sauce and two cans full of water.
(3) Place on heat until the mixture boils. Serve with oyster crackers.
