METRODOME ROOF COLLAPSES

During a heavy snow event last weekend, the roof of the Metrodome collapsed in Minneapolis, MN. This facility, built for football games and other events, will now be closed for a few weeks while repairs are made to the roof. I noticed the roof was a fabric material, and therefore believe that I would use a sturdier material for a roof for such an important stadium. I know that heavy snow is not an everyday event, and neither is wind events like tornadoes and thunderstorms, but a stadium or other venue should be concerned for those paying money to go to events enough to ensure their patrons are safe and that the roof is not going to collapse again under snow or high winds.
