September 11, 2001, was a day that we will never forget. We all will always remember where we were when we heard that four planes had been used as weapons in an attack on America. Our country would never be the same again.
In the months following the attack, musicians from all genres of music wrote tributes to America and the victims of the attack. One of the most touching tributes to America came from country musician Alan Jackson. When he appeared on the CMA awards in October, he presented his song, “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)”, for the first time to the world.
The clip of him singing the song at the CMA awards has been preserved on You Tube so that we can always remember where we were when the world changed forever. I have chosen that fim clip as the clip of the month for September 2009.
