Book of the Month: The Sevenfold Power of First-Century Churches and Homes

Is your church full of the power of the Lord? Do you feel blessed every time you go to church? Or, are you among the many who faithfully attend church and participate in the services as a routine, whether or not you feel blessed that day?

“The Sevenfold Power of First-Century Churches and Homes”, written by Bill Gothard, takes a look at the first-centuty church and what made it powerful. He also takes a look at what is missing in the modern day church, and how modern churches can return to feeling the power and glory of the Lord at work in everything that they do.

Not only is this book very educational and very inspirational, it is also easy to read. I have learned more from this book than any other one I have read this year. That is why I have voted for “The Sevenfold Power of First-Century Churches and Homes” as the book of the month in my blog for June 2009.
