Look, Listen, and Live

Thursday, here in Huntsville, AL, a vehicle was struck by a frieght train. Luckily, the driver of the vehicle walked away from the crash with only minor injuries. While the motorist in this wreck was lucky, and survived, many thousands of people each year are either killed or suffer horrible injuries as a result of driving–or walking–into the path of a moving train. We all need to remember to look, listen, and live–look both ways before crossing a railroad track, listen for the sounds made by the train, and live by not getting into the path of a train.
